Tom, just wanted to let you know that the Hot Sox from Cleveland, Ohio thought your tournament was great. We started off slowly but gained some steam on Sunday. Everyone we played was a great team which is a credit to your softball in that area. All the other teams were great to play, the coaches were very professional and the umpires did a super job. Finally, thank you and your volunteers for all their hard work.

Good Morning Tom: I did not get a chance to see you before we left yesterday, but I wanted to make sure that I thanked you on bahalf of our players and parents for a great weekend. Being a director myself of a 42-team baseball tournament, I know first hand of all the hard work it takes to put on a first class tournament. And it''s easy to seperate the mediocre tournaments from the ones that stick out. The facility and the fields were top notch. The grounds crew did a superb job of prepping the fields before each game and providing a fresh look to the diamonds for each game. The communication and availability of yourself and/or someone in charge to ask questions was never in question. The concessions and T-shirts were excellent. The umpires were all personable, approachable and helpful. I have very rarely been to a tournament were there is enough time alotted to play all 7 innings of each game. But we played 4 games and never once hit cerfew. And the competetiveness of the teams was also great. As I tell the volunteers of our baseball tournament, it''s the sum of all the little things you do that make for a first class tournament. I have nothing but good things to commend you on. Please forward my kudos to the rest of the volunteers on your staff. In all our years of travelling, I''m not sure how we never stumbled upon your tournament sooner, but I can guarantee that I will promote your tournament to the local travel teams in Erie for next year.
